Beals and Thomas celebrating 30th anniversary this month

2014 marks Beals and Thomas, Inc.'s 30th anniversary. Since its founding, the firm has provided planning, design and permitting services for more than 2,000 properties throughout New England. Beals and Thomas was founded in May 1984 to provide civil engineering, landscape architecture, land surveying, environmental science, land planning and site design services for both public and private clientele throughout New England. The firm employs 40 professionals in two offices located in Southborough and Plymouth, and attributes its continued success to its skilled and talented staff, commitment of its senior personnel and dedication to quality performance. Beals and Thomas has established a reputation for excellence by serving the needs of its clients while advocating for prudent land planning and design. The firm is distinguished by the dedication of its principals, associates and staff, most of whom have chosen to establish long-term careers at Beals and Thomas. Likewise, many of its clients have made long-term commitments to the firm by engaging its professionals repeatedly for large and complicated projects. George Preble recently led the firm through its first generation ownership transition and has served as the president since 2012. "I want to thank our current employees, former employees, clients, and board of directors for their collective contribution to the success of the company. I look forward to continuing the legacy of Beals and Thomas," he said. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Beals and Thomas has released a celebratory logo which will be used in conjunction with the standard company logo throughout the year. The firm has also committed to provide pro-bono services to selected Mass. non-profit institutions.
