Avison Young completes 15,000 s/f lease on behalf of Albano Real Estate - Cresa represented the tenant, Rigaku Corp.

Avison Young, the world's fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm, has leased 15,000 s/f of flex space at 30 Upton Rd. on behalf of landlord Albano Real Estate Trust to Rigaku Corp. (Rigaku). Rigaku, an international manufacturer and distributor of X-ray related technologies, relocated from New England Executive Park in Burlington, Mass. at the end of November. The transaction represents a 10,000 s/f expansion for the firm. Avison Young principal Jack Kerrigan and Mark Coelho, vice president in the Boston office, represented Albano Real Estate Trust. Cresa represented Rigaku. With the completion of this transaction, 30 Upton Rd. is now fully leased. "With rents in Burlington rapidly increasing, companies that have flexibility with their location can achieve phenomenal savings with a relocation to a nearby market," said Kerrigan. "Steve Albano of Albano Real Estate Trust is a local, hands-on owner who was instrumental in completing this lease with Rigaku." 30 Upton Dr. is a single-story, 80,000 s/f office and flex/R&D facility located in Upton Technology Park. Master planned and designed by Albano Real Estate Trust, the building offers convenient access to Interstate 93.
