Boston, MA At the October 29 ASM  dinner gala, Associated Subcontractors of Mass. was proud to honor Massachusetts House speaker Robert DeLeo with our Outstanding Legislator Award in recognition of his long-standing support of the state’s construction industry and subcontracting community.

In his remarks at the event, speaker DeLeo recalled the passage of the 2010 Prompt Pay Law and last year’s 5% Retainage Law, as well as Unemployment Insurance Reforms that have kept UI taxes in check.  These laws have helped strengthen the finances of hundreds of subcontracting companies doing business in Massachusetts.
