ARS celebrates 12th year of charitable giving by donating $750,000
Newton, MA ARS Restoration Specialists celebrates the 12th consecutive year of charitable giving, donating $750,000 to worthy non-profit organizations in 2018 most notably the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and the Ellie Fund. For more than a decade, ARS has provided financial support, supplies and volunteer services to non-profit organizations across the northeast.
The majority of donations in 2018 were the result of the annual ARS Casino Night, the company’s flagship event, which welcomed a record 2,000 attendees, featured 200 sponsors and nearly 300 silent and live auction items and raffle prizes. The 13th annual Casino Night will be held Saturday, March 30th at Gillette Stadium.
Additional annual initiatives including the Golf Outing and Football Pool continue to grow in participation and sponsorship, yielding significant funds to support important local non-profit organizations and are a hallmark of the company’s commitment to giving back.
Now in its second year, ARS also celebrates a successful year of Branch Community Service, a unique program designed to empower each ARS branch to volunteer their time to a worthy cause. In 2018, the ARS team donated time to nearly 10 organizations including: Barnstable Senior Center, Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, Connecticut Food Bank, Ellie Fund Dish & Delivery Meal Delivery Program, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Rye Harbor State Park & Wallis Sands Beach and Wayfinders of Springfield.
