Annual flag raising held in Waterbury

The Wolcott St./ Lakewood Rd. Business Association held its annual Flag Raising Ceremony recently at 910 Wolcott St. with assistance from Waterbury veterans. Our Waterbury delegation and mayor Jarjura were invited and merchants and the public from the area attended. Businesses on Wolcott St. and Lakewood Rd. are currently selling flags for one dollar through the 4th of July. All proceeds will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans Local Chapter 11. Purchase a flag and help support our troops.
