Angel Commercial subleases 34,000 s/f to Acme United Corp.

1 Waterview Drive - Shelton, CT

Shelton, CT Acme United Corp. (ACU) has doubled their headquarter space at 1 Waterview Dr., in a sublease agreement for over 34,000 s/f, according to Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial, LLC, who represented the subtenant in this transaction.

For over 150 years, Acme United Corporation has been a leading worldwide supplier of innovative cutting, measuring, first aid, and sharpening products to the school, home, office, hardware, sporting goods, and industrial markets with operations in the United States, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, and China.

“Acme’s timing to be seeking new space was impeccable given the opportunities in their desired market area,” said Angel. “The space was subleased from Tangoe, a provider of technology expense management and managed mobility services. Despite the significantly lower office vacancy rate in Shelton compared to other parts of Fairfield County, we were able to negotiate a favorable deal for Acme, which included a substantial tenant improvement installation as well as furniture, fixtures, and equipment.”

Angel Commercial, LLC, is an award-winning full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Fairfield County. The company specializes in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of office, industrial, retail, land, investment, and development properties on a local and national level.
