Angel Commercial and Cushman & Wakefield handle $1.15m sale

410 State Street - Bridgeport, CT

Bridgeport, CT The former Connecticut Post Building located at 410 State St., sold for $1.15 million, according to Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial, LLC. The property consists of a 57,870 s/f four-story brick building built in 1928 with an attached parking garage on 0.64 acre.

A New York City investor purchased the property from Hearst CT Post LLC. “They executed the purchase as part of a 1031 exchange,” said Angel who represented the buyer. “The plan is to remodel the building and offer it for lease.” 

At the corner of State St. and Courtland St., the property is located in downtown and is close to restaurants, banks, and Housatonic Community College. It is located off I-95 and Rte. 8, and close to the Bridgeport Amtrak/Metro-North Train Station.

Cushman and Wakefield represented the seller.
