Anderson of Cummings Properties hosts 20 Chinese delegates tour

On December 5th, Cummings Properties hosted a delegation of venture capitalists, commercial developers, and government officials from China at TradeCenter 128. The 20-person group had traveled from Shanghai to learn about practices in "business incubation," the nurturing of startups and small businesses. Additional stops on its U.S. visit included Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C. To provide a close-up look at a facility designed to support and foster entrepreneurship, Cummings Properties executive vice president Eric Anderson met with the delegation at Launch, a co-working space featuring shared desks, "idea walls," and free WiFi in a wide-open office. Anderson also led a tour of Cummings Executive Suites, which provides fully furnished offices and shared workplace amenities for small businesses. Anderson is the founder of Massachusetts Association of Business Incubators, whose mission is to enhance awareness of business incubation programs in the Commonwealth, and assist these programs in sharing experiences and exchanging referrals.
