Amenta Emma Architects honored with multiple Connecticut industry awards

Quinnipiac University Brand Strategy Group

Hartford, CT Amenta Emma was honored with 3 awards at the CREW CT Blue Ribbon Awards reception. Quinnipiac University Brand Strategy Group received Best Interior Design for its creative transformation of a 19th century house into a 21st century powerhouse for ideas for the organization responsible for the university’s marketing, communications, brand identity and digital initiatives. The Symmetry Partners project received the Blue Ribbon award as well as Best in Class in the commercial category for the transformation of a former data processing facility into a brightly lit, collaborative space to accommodate the desired environment for a fast-growing financial services firm.

The Connecticut Building Congress awarded Amenta Emma’s Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits project First Place in its Small Project category. Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, marketers and distributors of wines and spirits from around the world, moved its corporate headquarters to a 43,500 s/f high-rise office space in Stamford. The team was challenged to accommodate a complicated program for the company’s extensive beverage portfolio, as well as create a variety of different workplaces to support their many collaborative and creative work modes such as testing and tasting new products, wine education space, tasting rooms, meeting and event space, training rooms, a marketing services area for development of Deutsch brand packaging and display materials, and spaces for IT, human resources and accounting.
