Alderson, Bailey, Green, Stratton, Vyas named to SBIC Beyond Green jury

Caroline Alderson, Gary Bailey, AIA, Henry Green, Hon. AIA, Peter Stratton, and Ujjval Vyas, Ph.D., J.D. have been named to The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council's (SBIC) jury for the 2009 Beyond Green High-Performance Building Awards. This year's awards program is chaired by SBIC member Gregg Ander, FAIA. The Beyond Green High-Performance Building Awards program is open to all and offers two entry categories, High-Performance Initiatives and High-Performance Buildings. Both categories will be evaluated based on the successful application of the whole building approach and on energy and environmental considerations. Winners will be invited to speak at a reception held in conjunction with a Capitol Hill briefing in early 2010. Winning entries will be posted on the Whole Building Design Guide and on SBIC's web site and newsletter. The deadline for entries is October 30.
