Acentech hires Briskie and Croteau and promotes five
Cambridge, MA According to Acentech, they have completed two new hires and several recent promotions within its headquarters. The new hires include:
• Jack Briskie, consultant - Briskie joined Acentech’s noise and vibration group. He works primarily on vibration, environmental and industrial noise projects, but has a wide range of experience and enjoys challenges of varying project types, from vibration site surveys and acoustical modeling to performing arts spaces.
• Liz Lamour Croteau, consultant - Croteau joined Acentech’s systems group, focusing on audiovisual design, sound reinforcement and control systems for a wide variety of projects. She is also an assistant professor at the Berklee College of Music, where she teaches music acoustics. She is a member of the Acoustical Society of America and AVIXA.
Recent promotions include:
• Corey Salvatore, CTS, has been named principal consultant. Salvatore is a versatile sound and audiovisual systems designer, working primarily on higher education and corporate projects throughout New England. Salvatore joined Acentech in 2000
• Robert Connick has been named senior consultant. Connick is an acoustician working on various projects involving institutional, commercial and residential facilities. He joined Acentech in 2013.
• Roberto Gomez has been named senior consultant. Gomez consults in Acentech’s environmental acoustics group, concentrating on transportation and community noise, including residential sound insulation program (RISP) projects that mitigate noise issues for those living near airports. He joined the firm in 2002.
• Kelsey Hochgraf has been named senior consultant. Hochgraf is an acoustician who works on projects involving educational, performing arts, commercial and residential facilities.
•Kristen Murphy, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, has been named senior consultant. Murphy is an acoustics consultant for educational, healthcare, performing arts, commercial, and residential projects, with a special focus on sustainable design. She has been with the firm since 2016.
