Acella completes 22,000 s/f retail bldg. project

Acella Construction Corporation, one of New England's leading construction services firms, specializing in construction management, general contracting, design-build, and pre-construction services, has recently completed the construction of a 22,000 s/f retail building. Located at 1360 South Washington St., the structural steel frame retail building added two tenants to the already successful North Attleboro Marketplace which is owned by Carpionato Properties, Inc., a Johnston, R.I.-based real estate development company. North Attleboro Market Place is a new super power center anchored by Lowe's Home Improvement, Circuit City, Bed Bath & Beyond, Joann Fabrics, DSW, and Dick's Sporting Goods in this super-regional retail market. Uniquely, the market draws from the Greater Boston and the Greater Providence suburbs. Adjacent to a high volume Wal-Mart, the site shares access with Target and the Emerald Square Mall. Neighboring "big box" retailers include Best Buy, Toys "R" Us, Marshall's, Old Navy, Michael's and Babies "R" Us. Acella worked in conjunction with design team RGB Architecture, Engineering and Design, a Providence, R.I.-based firm.
