Abrams Props. opens model unit, begins leasing of 55 units at The Chestnut Green Apartments

Abrams Properties, LLC and VinCo Properties, Inc. the master developer of Chestnut Green, have opened the model home and are now leasing apartments at The Chestnut Green Apartments. The project consists of 55 units redeveloped in the buildings of the former Foxborough State Hospital. The buildings are a collection of Greek Revival brick structures, and will be ready for occupancy this summer. The structures are being restored in accordance with The National Park Service Historic Guidelines. The exterior rehabilitation includes a complete restoration of the windows, egg and dart trim, slate roofs, and repointing of the brick. On the interior, the units will feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer hookups, walk-in closets, and tile baths. The complex even includes green elements such as a rain water reclamation system, Energy Star rated appliances, a fitness center, media room, billiards room, and onsite storage.
