Abbot Building restores academic building at Fessenden School

Abbot Building Restoration Company, Inc. completed a restoration of the academic building at The Fessenden School. According to John Sostilio, building and grounds director at The Fessenden School, the 12-year old building was exhibiting major cracks and failures at many of its expansion joints. Abbot was contracted to remove and replace all of the sealant joints at the perimeter of the window openings as well as the perimeter wall control joints. Sostilio added that "this was the first time that we have used Abbot, and their bid was right in range with what we had budgeted. The project went smoothly and the quality of the work was exactly what we had expected."
