I discovered the New England Real Estate Journal in 1964 when my business was opened and Roland Hopkins called me and asked me about my advertising needs at the time. I liked his approach and have used the journal since that time. In what way has the New England Real Estate Journal been a benefit to you and your business? I find the magazine to be interesting and informative. It has many benefits as it relates to the most current market conditions, recently arranged financings, current editorials on the industry and it happenings. As I thumb through the magazine, I find articles and advertisements that are of interest to other members of the firm and pass them along to each of them. How long have you been affiliated with the commercial real estate industry? I have been involved with commercial real estate financing since 1953. In 1964 Cooper-Horowitz, Inc. was formed to arrange mortgage loans nationwide on all types of income producing properties. Today we are approaching 50 years in business and I am proud to have my four sons, Jeffrey, Robert, David and Richard working at the office with me every day. My grandson, Adam joined the firm in 2008 and has recently been recognized and awarded as one of the nations leading brokers under the age of 30. In addition, we currently have 25 professionals arranging financing ranging from $5 million to $7 billion in size. Our volume is over $5 billion annually and we will continue our relationship with the New England Real Estate Journal for years to come.
