My father, Roger Foster had been in the real estate business for many years with his father and the founder of our company, Ralph Foster when he met Roland Hopkins. As I understand it, Rolly was considering starting the NEREJ and Roger encouraged him to give it a go. Since that time, many years ago, Rolly and all the staff at the Journal have been helpful to our business and me from the years in brokerage to today in our consulting and appraisal business.
