2024 Women in Construction: Marylee Mercy, Studio G Architects

Marylee Mercy
Assistant Project Manager
Studio G Architects

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? Receiving the designation of Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) was a great honor. This credential will boost my ability to effectively communicate with educators, parents, students, and other stakeholders to better understand their needs and goals. Understanding a project’s goals from the onset through community outreach allows me to interpret and translate their aspirations into tailor-made learning environments. From sustainability goals and space planning, to finishes and technology integration, the result is more successful projects for communities, students, and educators. I am eager to implement these ideas in our upcoming K-12 projects!
