2024 Women in Construction: Kaylee Pingree, Jewett Construction Co.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I am very excited and proud to have been on the Team Nissan renovation we did in Manchester, NH. This project wasn’t big in scope, but the amount of woman on the project team was the first of its kind in Jewett history. We had a female architect, female estimator, female project coordinator, female project manager, and female project accountant. I not only respect all these women and enjoy working with them every day, but I am so proud to work for a company that hasn’t shied away from hiring women in the trades. 

When I saw the initial project team members, I raised my hand to be project accountant so we could kind of make company history with the roster and we all paused when we realized how cool that was.
