2024 Women in Construction: Annie Dolphin, JDL Corporate Interiors, Inc.

Annie Dolphin
Director
JDL Corporate Interiors, Inc.

What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry? My career in the AEC industry started six years ago as an assistant project manager. Coming in with little knowledge of the industry, I was blown away by how nice, helpful and supportive people in industry are. I find constant encouragement from my colleagues and their support has been the driving force in me getting to the director level at JDL Corporate Interiors.

What is your favorite / most beneficial part of Women in Construction week? Every year I look forward to Women in Construction week. It is a great reminder for everyone in our industry to celebrate women and all the hard work they put into making our industry so great. The week gives a platform to showcase how far women have come in the industry, the barriers that have been broken and displays how much more is left for women to accomplish. The week gives insight to the younger generation of women, who are either new or considering joining the AEC industry, that there is so much opportunity and support in this industry.
