Recent milestone or project you’re most proud of? One of my accomplishments has been positioning myself within ROI to lead the launch and development of our newest division, Real Estate, Architecture and MEP (RAM). While Resource Options has long-delivered strong results across real estate, MEP, and architecture, this stand- alone division allows us to take our service offerings to the next level. As the primary point of contact for a team dedicated to clients in this space, I’ve seen firsthand how this focused approach builds greater trust and confidence in our capabilities. It’s a meaningful opportunity, and one I am excited to spearhead.

Person who shaped your development, and how? First and foremost, my parents have been my greatest supporters, through every challenge and success! They’ve helped shape the person I am today. Outside of family, the incredible team at ROI has been instrumental in my professional growth.

Joining the firm early in my career, I’m grateful that they took a chance on me and backed it with unwavering support, especially during those critical first few months. Every day brings new lessons, and having such a strong internal support system has made coming to work not just fulfilling but genuinely enjoyable.

Challenge you’ve overcome, and what it taught you? Early in my career, one of the biggest challenges I faced, was a lack of clear professional direction. Graduating with a finance degree, I found myself at a crossroads, uncertain about what path to take. My first role at a bank quickly revealed something important: I’m a people person, and I thrive in a people- focused business. Three years ago, I joined Resource Options, and I haven’t looked back. It’s incredibly rewarding to support A/E/C professionals who may be facing the same uncertainty I once did. It’s also a privilege to collaborate with top tier firms in New England.

Advice you’d give someone starting out? Stay resilient and hungry. Working in the staffing industry can be discouraging at times. When you join a firm like ROI and witness the strong network our senior leaders have built through honesty, authenticity, and professionalism, it’s easy to feel like you’re facing an uphill battle to achieve the same. However, consistently going the extra mile for our clients and candidates, combined with stepping outside your comfort zone, whether by attending networking events or connecting with professionals you might not otherwise meet, can make a lasting impact. Every effort adds up!

Advice you’d give someone starting out? I was once told by a colleague, “Don’t let them know how smart you are, you’ll end up with more work.” Several years into my career, the advice I’d give is the opposite:

What is industrial outdoor storage land really worth anyway? - by David Skinner

Back in the good old days of Boston-area commercial real estate, industrial land was worth what the sale comps said it was worth. The land in the park, or around the corner, or in that submarket sold for between X and Y to an industrial company that needed to park trucks or build a building

Interest rate redux: Yet another factor - by Daniel Calano

The most important point was that the Federal Reserve Bank, aka the Fed, was not in charge of those real estate lending rates. I was tired of hearing that, if the Fed lowered rates by a few points, more housing would be built, and thus could be more affordable through more supply.
