What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?
As a member of the South Shore Economic Development Corp., the housing crisis in Massachusetts has been an issue in the forefront of my mind both professionally and personally for the past few years. I have been honored to have been intricately involved in the design, permitting and construction of two apartment complexes in Plymouth Mass. Both of these projects are helping to address the housing demand concerns by providing approximately 580 rental units, with a percentage of the units affordable. I am proud to be a part of addressing the needs of the region where I grew up.
What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry?
I take pride in all of my projects and am driven by creating commercial development designs that will benefit the community in which the project is constructed. As technology advances and the needs of communities change, I thrive on the opportunity to present development opportunities to various municipalities and educate them on why the development is beneficial for their community and its future. The challenge of working with municipalities and showing them the benefits of development projects is my driving force.
What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to continue to expand my network and the visibility of my company. I want to help make Highpoint and myself a trusted name in the industry by staying involved in industry events and continuing to learn the continuing evolving AEC regulations. To be a resource for our clients by offering them professional consulting services in the commercial development industry. I aim to help my company grow while providing my clients with the extra attention needed to achieve a successful project that benefits the client and community.
