Joe Levasseur
Project Surveyor
Hancock Associates

“What makes Joseph Levasseur a rising star is his commitment, work ethic, and dedication to both Hancock Associates and the land surveying profession. I have had the pleasure of working with Joe the past seven years in our Boston office. Joe has exceeded every expectation we have had for him and is now preparing to take the Professional Land Surveyors exam in October.” - Jason Ellis, P.L.S., Survey Manager/Sr. Associate at Hancock Associates.

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? I am proud to have completed the rigorous application process through the MA Board of Registration to be allowed to take the PLS exam. I look forward to taking the exam and being one step closer to obtaining my Professional Surveyor’s License in Massachusetts.

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? I believe that it is important to be able to set your own boundaries, prioritize tasks and dedicate time to both work and personal activities in order to maintain a healthy balance.

Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? My family and friends who have supported me in all my endeavors as well as my managers and coworkers from whom I have learned so much and continue to learn.
