2024 Ones to Watch - Rising Stars: Benjamin Goldstein, Newmark

Benjamin Goldstein
Managing Director
Newmark

“Ben Goldstein is a rising star within office leasing advisory evidenced by transactions spanning 3 million s/f since 2020. Twice honored with Newmark’s National Rising Star Award and UConn Real Estate’s Early Alumni of the Year for 2024, his global prowess navigates complex deals across major markets worldwide.” - James Ritman, Executive Vice President, Managing Director at Newmark.

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? I am proud to be named by the University of Connecticut Center for Real Estate as the Early Alumni of the Year 2024. Being recognized by my alma mater was a great honor, especially considering all the successful alums of the RE program.

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? I am lucky to consider my job as part of my personal life. The brokerage business is 24/7/365, so for the most part, my personal life and career are all in one. The luxury is that it allows me always to seek opportunities for our business while working with many people (including at Newmark) whom I consider great friends.

Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? My parents and my mentor/business partner, James Ritman. Without the guidance and leadership of this group, I would be nowhere.
