2023 Women in CRE: Lindsay Pacuska, NV5

Lindsay Pacuska, PE
Senior Mechanical Engineer
NV5

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I am most proud of the younger staff that I have recently mentored. I watched them ask questions, expand their knowledge, become more confident, and in turn, gain more independence with responsibilities. I hope that I am providing them with a strong base upon which to develop as I had when I first started in my career. I still think back to all that my mentors did for me over the years.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? It’s critical for women in my industry to understand how they see themselves contributing to their chosen firm and if there is any potential for professional growth there, and to understand if there are advocates and resources within the company for support as you progress in your career.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? The amazing women working on the various project construction sites in my career inspired me the most. I am always inspired by their authenticity, grit, and resilience.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Lindsay is a more recent addition to the NV5 family who made an immediate impact upon joining the team. Her mechanical engineering knowledge and licensure accumulated over a 20+ year career has proven invaluable to our firm.” - Tori Ellis, Marketing Manager at NV5.
