2023 Women in CRE: Kelly Caralis, Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, P.C

Kelly Caralis
Shareholder & Co-Chair of Hospitality
Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, P.C

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? A recent project of which I am proud is my representation of a full-service restaurant and bar located in multiple locations across the Boston area with its expansion across Massachusetts and into New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? Every woman’s situation is unique and fluid. I know my priorities and aspirations have changed throughout my career. For me the most important factors are a supportive and flexible culture, stability, professional development opportunities and the ability to recognize the skills, talents and contributions we bring to the workforce.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? There is nothing more inspiring to me than women who are strong yet not afraid to show vulnerability and who are authentic, believe in themselves and others, lead by example and who have persevered and opened doors for themselves and future generations.
