2023 Women in CRE: Jenna Shea, DiPrete Engineering

Jenna Shea
Project Manager
DiPrete Engineering

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? Reflecting on my journey at DiPrete Engineering, I started as a project engineer, honing my skills in civil site design. In just four years, I’ve risen to the role of project manager, overseeing my own portfolio. I take immense pride in successfully navigating the permitting and construction phases of several substantial solar developments across Rhode Island.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? For women considering their career path in the civil site development industry, prioritize firms that uphold equal value for all employees. Seek organizations that not only recognize but also leverage your unique strengths to foster both personal and company growth.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My greatest inspiration through my career are the women in the industry that have come before me who have shown me that being the only woman in a room or on a construction site doesn’t diminish the power of your voice. Their resilience and unwavering determination continue to fuel my journey.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Jenna is a highly driven detail-oriented project manager with excellent interpersonal skills. She has quickly risen within the firm to a leadership position by mentoring younger staff and managing a diverse portfolio of projects. She has a genuine interest in our client’s goals and achieving the best possible outcome.” - Eric Prive, Senior Project Manager at DiPrete Engineering.
