2023 Women in Construction: Christina Cadigan, DJSA Architecture, PC

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? In the past year, I was able to be a part of the team for a multifamily project on Grove St. in Salem, Mass. It was one of the first projects I worked on when I started at DJSA three years ago. After a long permitting process, it is exciting to see the construction process begin. This project will feature three apartment buildings, a fitness center and community building which will be interesting to see constructed over the next few years. 

What tips or advice would you offer to other women who are considering entering the construction industry? For women in this industry, it is important to have confidence in yourself and the work that you do. Women can offer an insightful perspective in this industry, and it is important to be confident and have your voice heard.
