2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Matt Savarese, Redgate

Matt Savarese
Senior Project Manager
Redgate

Number of years at firm: 1.5

One thing on my bucket list: Travel to Croatia

When I am not working, I am: Active, spending time with friends, family and trying out new restaurants.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The MIT Volpe Exchange South Parcel is a complex eight-acre mixed-use phased redevelopment of a superblock in Cambridge’s Kendall Sq. The project will add approximately 2.4 million s/f, consisting of below-grade parking, three residential towers, three commercial towers, and various open spaces for public use. Managing eight project teams, while shepherding the goals and aspirations of the client has been both challenging and rewarding. I have learned and honed new skills that will aid in my future development success. I am honored to be a part of such a transformative project for both the client and surrounding community.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Matt has honed his development management skills and collaborative approach through the successful management of some of the Boston area’s most complicated and transformative developments. His capabilities have made him a force of progress and a center of gravity for his project teams and beyond.” - Erik Servies, Senior Vice President / Director of Life Science Projects at Redgate
