Best advice for new leaders in 10 words or less: Understand that your relationships are the foundation of your success.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The Pelham House Function Facility in Dennisport is a project that I am very proud of. Not only was the project completed under an aggressive timeline and through the origins of COVID, but we were able to build a lasting relationship with the ownership group that still continues on today. It was an incredible journey working with them to bring their dream to life.

What was one of your biggest challenges as a leader and how did you overcome it? My biggest challenge as a leader was recognizing the differences in all of the people I interact with on a daily basis, and understanding that there is no universal approach to creating a team environment. While the basic tenets of integrity, transparency, honesty and hard work remain consistent, the path to instilling and fostering these in others can vary greatly.
