What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? To further Shawmut’s commitment to DEI, this year, I was proud to launch our Diverse Partnerships Program – an initiative that provides more opportunities for diverse vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers. The program enables economic, social, and community opportunity through strategic partnerships that strengthen and increase business opportunities for UBEs. It aims to exceed requirements and goals set by our partners and is designed to establish lasting partnerships that lead to knowledge-sharing, innovation, and long-term success.

What makes this nominee an Industry Leader? “Brooke’s decades of experience as a champion for diversity and civic engagement is unmatched. His commitment to advancing underrecognized populations aligns naturally with our mission and has enabled us to further drive DEI impacts across projects and build capacity through our supplier diversity accelerator program.” - Kevin Sullivan, Executive VP, New England Region at Shawmut Design and Construction.
