In the past year, what project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? My team and I were successful in securing city of Boston Article 80 zoning approval of a 10-year master plan for Boston Medical Center. This 10-year master plan will enable Boston Medical Center to increase research to address health inequities and redesign healthcare models that integrate medical, behavioral, and social needs of its patients. one million s/f of renovated and new construction space will provide a new research tower, supportive housing and a new clinical tower enhancing patient care and access for underserved populations. We are now executing the first phase of construction via Integrated Project Delivery.
Are you part of any CRE organizations? How have they helped your professional development? I serve as vice president/president-elect of the Boston chapter of Professional Women in Construction, and a member of CREW and NAIOP. These organizations have expanded my network across all sectors of the commercial real estate and construction industry while exposing me to diverse experiences and perspectives across the real estate spectrum. Being part of these organizations has created meaningful friendships based on trust that have led to business opportunities. Most importantly, these organizations have allowed me to mentor and volunteer in ways that ensure women see the commercial real estate and construction industry as an attainable and accessible career option.
