What advice would you offer to women getting into the CRE industry?
My advice would be to have patience. In my experience, this industry is not known to be fast moving and if it is, be wary because some details may have been missed. Whether it is design development and coordination, construction schedules, or having to communicate with various teams/entities in the design build process, have patience.

What trends will dominate your industry in the coming months?
There has been a wave of building projects being steered toward the direction of Passive House/LEED-Certification standards, incorporating an overall energy efficient/sustainable building design. It is less of an afterthought now – considerations on the topic are happening a lot earlier with stakeholders. Particularly within densely packed cities, building projects with an energy efficient design are becoming the new “standard.”
