2022 Women in Construction: Beth Pearcy, AIA, CPHC, LEED AP BD+C, Architect at Amenta Emma Architects

Beth Pearcy

Within your firm, who has helped you succeed within the industry? How have they helped you? I’ve had so many amazing mentors during my career but one that continues to stand out for me is the president of the AIA the year that I got licensed. She helped me get involved in industry organizations and taught me how to advocate for myself. Both of these things have proven to be incredibly valuable in my career development.

What tips or advice would you offer to other women who are considering entering the construction industry? Be unapologetically yourself. As cliché as that sounds, it is important to remember that everyone will appreciate a unique and fresh perspective.
