2022 Ones to Watch: Anthony Milano, Assistant Project Manger at Vantage Builders, Inc.

What does it take to succeed in your specific industry? I would say the most important skill to have in the construction industry is people skills. In project management we need to be able to make a connection between clients and subcontractors daily, which requires clear and open communication. The ability to motivate people to go the extra mile for a project’s success is also essential.

What led you to your current profession? Growing up, my father worked in the residential construction industry and I’ve always enjoyed working in construction as a whole. I went to school for marketing, sales, and business development. Project management provides a great way to bridge the gap of those two backgrounds.

What are the top 3 items on your bucket list?

  1. Begin to invest in real estate and rental properties
  2. Travel and explore the world
  3. Learn a new language

What are you doing when you aren’t working? You’ll find me spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, riding my motorcycle, and working out.
