2021 Women in Construction: Stephanie Beals, Marketing Manager, TSKP Studio

How have you adapted and changed in the last 12 months? I have really focused on what makes me happy; finishing tasks on my to-do list; and minimized my social media use. There is such a feeling of accomplishment when you finish something and knowing what makes me happy brings calm into my life. 

Why should women consider a career in the A/E/C industry? I took one of those career placement tests in high school and I was no closer to knowing what I wanted to do. I actually started out in college as a Physical Education major, switched to Business and went on to get an MBA in Information Technology Management. The A/E/C industry is always evolving and finding new innovative ways to do things. If you want to be a part of that innovation, there are so many career options within A/E/C. I am always fascinated with all the nuances that go into the planning and design process.
