Paul Zekos
President
The Zekos Group Auctioneers

What was the most difficult part of working during the pandemic of 2020? COVID-19 size limitations delayed or prevented many auctions from occurring.

What aspects of working from home have you enjoyed most? Spending time with my dogs.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2020? Our municipal sell-off generated more than $7 million.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2021? Mom and Pop retail and office space outside of Rte. 128 stalls while industrial property with high ceilings picks up speed. Auctions will provide sound investment opportunities.

What is the best advice you have received, and who was it from? When I was a little boy and interested in auctions, a longtime auctioneer told me, “Kid, just remember there is an ass for every seat!”
