2020 Year in Review: John Famiglietti, Commercial Connection

John Famiglietti
Broker
Commercial Connection

What was the most difficult part of working during the pandemic of 2020? Keeping the process moving; many state agencies were on restricted scheduled with limited staff; when the pandemic hit – one of my sales had environmental issues to work through.

Days turned to weeks; eventually we got commitment and leases were signed and the property closed.

What aspects of working from home have you enjoyed most? No loss of time; meetings were mostly on line.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2020? Opening Commercial Connection LLC; and working with a business broker on several properties; to maximize both the business and the real estate’s value.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2021? 2021 will be a better year than 2020; there will be a lot of activity; good and bad. As the vaccine progresses, the markets will become more active.

I think there will be a lot of transactions as we work toward a thriving economy.
