What is the best advice you have received, and who was it from? When I was younger, my parents would say,“You are only as good as the company you keep.” It has taught me that people are quick to judge and therefore it is important to surround yourself with like-minded individuals who inspire you to be the best version of yourself and to then be that person to others. 

What are some benefits of having a mentor? Mentorship is about forming a great relationship centered around a mutual passion. Mentors act as a confidant that you can unload your problems to. They will listen, help you dissect exactly what is bothering you and provide support as you think of solutions together. 

In my current role, I am fortunate to have the guidance, encouragement and support of a trusted and experienced Team Leader who has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
