Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? I am fortunate to have several people influence my commercial real estate career, but Jim DeStefano had the strongest impact. He held countless roles in my life, including mentor, colleague, and friend. One of his many pieces of advice was to always add value on any transaction or project you are working on. I have this in mind each day while I work with my clients. It has been two years since Jim passed, but not a day goes by without a reminder of him in the form of a memory or a client. Jim was always there to celebrate the highs and get you back on your feet after a low (with a smile and a Lindt chocolate). His kindness, generosity, and love for real estate is still with me today.
