Postion: Director of Client Services

Comapny: Elaine Construction Company, Inc.

Years in the A/E/C Industry: 22 years

What associations or organizations are you affiliated with (volunteer or member)? AGC-BWiC, Committee Member; CoreNet Global NE, board member and co-chair of communications committee; IFMA, co-chair corporate RE network committee; Society of College and University Planners, member and host committee member.

Advice/Keys to Success: Love what you do or change it. Stay curious. Get involved/be engaged. Continue to learn and grow. Advocate for yourself and others. The A/E/C Industry is a wonderful one, and can provide a stable work environment and living, but if you are not passionate about the industry you will not enjoy it and prosper. No industry is without its challenges – take action, get involved, be a change agent, take pride in your work, give back to others, and you will be rewarded in small and big ways.

Why choose the A/E/C Industry?

I love design and construction and appreciate the tangible nature of the work I do. At the end of the year, I can say I was part of something important and can see it too.

Are you aware of the film Hard Hatted woman? If so, what does a film like this mean to you? I am not aware of this film.
