2017 Annual Review: Laura Pirie of Pirie Associates Architects

What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2017? At Pirie Associates, we had three especially notable events this year representing the diverse ways we create and what we value.  First, construction began on the Yale Law School Baker Hall Comprehensive Renovation. This $50,000,000 project expands the capacity of the Law School to serve its students with dormitories, classrooms, and student-centered functions. Second, we accepted an AIA CT Business Design Award for our Denali Retail stores. We really value this design award because it recognizes how our work impacts our client’s bottom line and their ability to do what they do better. Third, we created Spark Exchange, a Pecha Kucha style event where we brought folks together to have fun, step-out of their comfort zone, be inspired, and meet great people doing awesome work.
