Respondent’s Name: Steven King Company: Quonset Development Corp. What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015? 2015 was another extremely successful year for Quonset. Today we have more than 200 companies at the Business Park, nearly 11,000 workers in full and part-time jobs, and the Port of Davisville remains one of the Top 10 auto importers in North America.   There’s been many great accomplishments over the year, including the addition of more than 183,430 s/f of new structures added by our tenants and more than $29 million in new investments made at the Park. What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2015? It is hard to pick just one project. This year we saw the opening of Greencore’s new 107,000 s/f facility. Edesia broke ground on their new 85,000 s/f facility, which is more than 60% complete. Electric Boat recently cut the ribbon on their new 123,000 s/f, $47 million Automated Frame and Cylinder facility. The QDC opened a 12,425 s/f multi-tenant office space building, as Phase 2 of its Gateway Office project.   Those are just a few of the many notable projects that took place in 2015.
