What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015? Working with an Abandoned Housing Program designed to address abandoned and public nuisance residential properties to restore their condition and put them back into economic use. What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2015? Serving as counsel to the court-appointed receiver in the sale of the Lippitt Mill in West Warwick, R.I. The transaction was the first sale of a historic mill building through the receivership process successfully securing 2013 State of Rhode Island Historic Tax Credits. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2016? Many commercial projects that stalled/failed over the last several years, will have opportunities to be successfully resurrected through newly established public/private initiative programs. These programs which will ultimately preserve value for these prior failed projects while putting them back into use.
