09-07-2012 - EnviroVantage CFO Knightly to participate in Three Notch Century

EnviroVantage CFO, Tonya Knightly, will be participating in her 8th Three Notch Century September 7th-9th. This 100-mile bike ride will take three days over three peaks in the White Mountains. The Three Notch Century is the biggest fundraiser for Northeast Passage, a local not-for-profit with ties to the University of New Hampshire. As a support rider, Knightly will assist a hand cyclist throughout the ride. Not only does she participate physically, but she also helps Northeast Passage financially by spreading the word and raising money. EnviroVantage has been a financial supporter for every ride, and for the last four years, they have been the top fundraiser. It is Knightly's goal, with the support of EnviroVantage, to raise $3,500. Over the past eight years, Knightly has volunteered her time to Northeast Passage, working with their water-ski, cycling, and kayaking programs. Knightly said, "It is heartwarming to see the joy we bring. This July, I again traveled to N.Y.C. to teach soldiers seriously injured in Iraq and Afghanistan through the Wounded Warrior Project. Over 50 soldiers and their families enjoyed a weekend of water sports. Every week I work with people who touch my soul." Northeast Passage gives persons with disabilities the knowledge and help they need to find their inner athlete. EnviroVantage would like to support this amazing cause by letting others know that there are ways they can help too.
