Over 200 guests are expected to attend this feel-good celebration of service and community. This unique event, organized to engage professionals in volunteerism, will model Building Impact's volunteer efforts across New England as the organization fills service gaps in local communities and nonprofits. The evening's festivities will include activity stations where guests will engage in hands-on community service activities benefiting local nonprofits such as Project Bread's Walk for Hunger, Spare Change News, and Heading Home. For more exciting event details and online registration, please visit our website: www.buildingimpact.org. Other local business community supporters joining to help strengthen the community, include Building Impact's Gold Award Winners: ADD Inc/Stantec, Avison Young, BostonHeart, Bulfinch, Carescout, Edelstein & Co, Forest City, HubSpot, Inc., Jones Lang LaSalle, Kaspersky, MediaTek USA, Inc., Metis Communications, National Development, PerkinElmer, PPM Corp, RTI International, Skanska and The Mount Vernon Co. Along with recognizing the real estate industry's commitment to the Greater Boston community, attendees will also get a chance to network with likeminded Building Impact advocates from the real estate, nonprofit, and corporate industries while enjoying an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. "The Davis Companies is proud to be a founding sponsor and event honoree at Building Impact's 3rd Annual NonGala. BI's model of bringing a building's tenants together, with the dual goals of building community and leveraging it for good, is innovative and powerful. BI's program is a great service, both to those in need and to our tenants and their employees, who are anxious to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate," said Jonathan Davis, founder and CEO of The Davis Cos. Building Impact's mission is to strengthen communities by providing companies and individuals with the knowledge and opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect in the buildings where they work or live. Building Impact currently partners with 15 real estate firms including the corporate real estate founding partners of National Development, The Davis Companies, Paradigm Properties and The Bulfinch Companies, across greater Boston to service over 50 buildings. 100% of the goodwill, volunteerism, product donations, and interest is given to Building Impact's nonprofit network of around 200 partners in Greater Boston and beyond, addressing issues such as youth & education, hunger & housing, environment, job training, literacy, and community health.
