04-07-2015 - Connecticut Chapter of Professional Women in Construction to host panel entitled "Meet the Construction Chiefs!" on April 7

On April 7 the Connecticut Chapter of Professional Women in Construction (PWC-CT) will host a panel discussion and meeting entitled "Meet the Construction Chiefs!" This event will be held at the Sheraton Hartford South in Rocky Hill. It is one in a series of educational and networking evenings hosted by PWC-CT, whose programs are tailored to professionals in the architectural, engineering and construction fields as well as interested members of the public. The presentation panel for the discussion is moderated by Arch Currie, AIA, No Left Turn, LLC. Panelists are Daniel Bauer, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.; Al Gogolin, PE, LEED AP, Skanska USA, LLC; John Hawley, Gilbane Building Co.; Michael Kolakowski, KBE Building Corp.; Lauren Manafort, Manafort Brothers Inc.; Ron Simoneau, LEED AP, Shawmut Design & Construction; and Gregg Scholler, Turner Construction. 2015 is expected to be another year of positive growth for the Construction Industry, with 8% growth predicted for nonresidential construction.
